"Kauai High School captures all sides of Kauai residents. It is a pretty average school once you get past how much the current students dump on it like it's the worst school in the world. It really isn't amazing, but I'm sure it could be much worse. Kauai High's poor administration is probably the main reason for many of its downfalls. The school could improve immensely if those in charge put more time in adding discipline to course requirements and content in classrooms instead of the clothes being worn and whether or not a student has their ID on."

"Kauai High was an interesting school. Although it may not be the greatest of schools, it still provides enough resources to prepare students for college or whatever they choose to do once they graduate."

"Kauai High School was sort of a great high school. It wasn't the best but I made some pretty great memories there with my friends and my class of 2017. The one thing I enjoyed most about Kauai High was our seasonal assemblies, which is where student government and student volunteers would decorate the gym based on a theme and then dance in front of the school. Also, our pep rallies in our courtyard was always a fun thing for everyone to just dance and play games. Even though I will miss this part of my school, I can say that they really need some improvements, especially with consistency. Throughout my 4 years at Kauai High we have had 2 bell schedule changes, 3 different principles, and have many teachers come and go."

"Just a normal high school. There are some really good teachers and some teachers that really didn't care. The principal is not really liked/respected by students not because she is actually doing her job but because she is somewhat unreasonable. Sports are pretty good here. Theres AP classes offered. Not that much serious clubs around school. Good pathways such as HOSA and AOHT."

"Overall, Kauai High School is a friendly place that gives students opportunities to get ahead with numerous honors or AP courses as well as Running Start Programs. The downfalls however, would have to be some of the teachers there. Whereas some help us grow and learn, others do not seem to have the goals of making us reach our full potential."
