"I had the best experience at Baldwin High School. Met life long friends and teachers. I played waterpolo, volleyball and canoe paddling and had the greatest time with all my peers and coaches."

"I'd say it was a pretty solid experience all around but definitely with room for improvement. There are some teachers that are just phenomenal whereas some others are just downright terrible who you know are just there due to some shaky familial connection with someone in the administration. Or tenured and just refuse to give up. Where Baldwin really shines is with its extracurriculars. When I was a student, we had probably the most legitimate JROTC program in the state and sports teams for football and judo which consistently dominated competition. The facilities themselves are also pretty aesthetic and open which kinda makes for a comfy atmosphere on campus. Moreover, it has a fairly state of the art main library equipped with many resources students can take advantage of either in studiousness or leisure. All in all, Baldwin is as solid as public schools go on Maui and definitely not the worst choice you could make."

"The education sucks, administration cares more about dress code than the students' learning, the cafeteria serves chicken almost everyday. Although, the campus is usually always clean and there are many different people from many different cultures."

"Pretty good academics, especially if enrolled in the Honors and AP track. The diversity of students is excellent, as with most schools in Hawaii, and the teacher are great, willing to help students achieve their goals."

"My high school experience at this school had less memorable experiences at the school than outside of school. I enjoyed learning and there were many teachers that I will always remember but there were also many staff members that were not properly trained and that I did not like. The lazy security guards lying on the golf carts, teachers who bully, teachers who are no engaged in the class, and when students had problems with class scheduling and problems in class, the administration did very little to solve these problems. I love the school and the experience I had with other students but learning and interaction with staff I was not satisfied with. Only a few of the teachers actually prepared me for college within their classes."
