"I really enjoyed this school. I loved all of the courses they offered as well as the sports the provided. In the past years I have been seeing a lot of change which I am happy with."

"Kamehameha is a wonderful school. It's not perfect, but it's good. Teachers are a Hit or Miss. Make sure you make friends and coordinate and find a teacher that you like, then switch out. Kamehameha is seen as one of the Elite schools and by just going there gives you immediate rep from others (Even at College!). The food was good, but Health changes made it interesting. Definitely one of the most diverse schools and undoubtedly an icon of Hawaiians. Hawaii is naturally diverse. Classes prepare you well for college."

"It was a good learning environment. I learned a lot there. There were many ways to get involved in clubs/activities there. School events were fun too. Good food as well!"

"As a graduate of the class of 2017, I can say that it has been an amazing four years on the hill. After middle school, I wanted to attend a private high school and was accepted into Kamehameha, Punahou, and 'Iolani. After seeing the campuses, I knew Kamehameha was right for me. It just felt like home. The overall atmosphere, unparalleled campus, all you can eat lunch, academics, programs, opportunities, and culture just blew me away. As a student, you carve your own path in sports or AP and Honors classes. The teachers know what they are teaching and want to instill knowledge into the students for the betterment of the lahui. Song contest, cultural activities, and a lot of traditions are truly something to be cherished. In my time there I had learned so much about my Hawaiian culture, learned so many values, studied harder than I ever thought I could, pushed myself physically in the rigorous P.E. programs, and met so many amazing people. I wouldn't trade my time there for anything."

"While I have spent a better part of a decade at this school, there are many aspects that require amendments, including the clear dissociation between administration and students and a very clear history of covering up incidents in order to keep a monetary value of the trust and avoid public relation disasters. I loved being a Kamehameha Schools student, with teachers and mentors who have put me on a track of success, but actions done by the administration simply do not match the mission the school was founded on."
