"Hawaiian Mission Academy is a very family based school. Students get along very well that they eventually become family. The teachers are very supportive in the students education and wants to teach them more and more everyday. They have multiple fields trips throughout the year like Camp Hookui, Senior Trip, Biology Trip and Camp Edman. Camp Hookui is basically camp in the beginning of the year where no one knows anyone and begins bonding with them at camp because they do various activities that involve team work. Overall the school is very unique."

"What I liked about Hawaiian Mission Academy 9-12 is the family like atmosphere that exists in everyday life. The teachers actually care about us, they sit down with us and they actually are willing to work with us till we understand and keep us afterschool if we need more help. They are willing to be close to us, and they are willing to treat us as individuals and not just as necessary burdens in their lives. The walls between upper class men and lower class men don't exist in this school, and it's not hard to see a freshman and senior talking."

"I have moved from state to state and attended both public and private schools, however, I feel that Hawaiian Mission Academy is the best school I have ever attended. It is engaging, helps me prepare for my future, pray to the God I love, maintain a good relations with others, and the staff and task workers from the other colleges and universities they bring in are really awesome."
