"Transitioning to a new High School at the start of my Junior year sounded like a daunting task, but as someone who is very extroverted and always enjoys meeting new people, my first year at Beaverton High School has been my favorite of my High School Career. Beaverton High School's culture and community are tight-knit, spirited, and open-minded. It's a culture that defies the stereotypes of life inside a High School. Although everyone has challenges of their own, including myself, whether personal or academic, the staff and students create a sense that you're not alone. In terms of curriculum, Beaverton High School has a wide array of opportunities to take specialized courses that could lead to college credit, such as Advanced Placement courses. However, unlike Southridge High School, Beaverton High School does not offer any International Baccalaureate classes."

"I love the teachers and the staff they are very kind. Something I would change is they should put more money in academics."

"I enjoyed the number of options available not only for classes but after school activities. One issue might have been lack of funds for certain programs, but that also brings out another strength, and that strength is how well the staff is able to manage the few resources that the school offers."
