"I like how students there are super nice and friendly. Along with how the sports teams show good sportsmanship in every game. What Glencoe needs to improve are the scores especially in math and science. Also some of the teachers are primitive."

"Overall I wouldn't say that my experience at Glencoe High School was terrible, but as far as academics goes, it wasn't ideal. The first two years were definitely a lot of fun, I was doing well in my classes and was heavily involved with Glencoe's Theatre Program. But during my Junior year the district implemented a new online math program that was heavily flawed and hadn't been tested before. The worst part was that our staff members didn't receive any form of training with this program and were expected to just adjust to this new curriculum along with the students. Overall the math program is a mess. Some of the science programs aren't the best either but we have a great English department along with a pretty solid Social Studies department. Overall Glencoe isn't the best school, along with most Oregon schools, but the administration's emphasis on inclusivity, diversity, and after school activities was something I really valued and appreciated as a student."

"Something i would like to see would be councilors giving more exposure to student resources. Another thing Glencoe should really consider improving is the food, some of food is decent but other is very unpleasant."

"I would definitely like the school to show more of adiversity appriciation and school spirit. Personally I feel like there isn't enough events going on."

"The only reason I went here was for the art program. Unfortunately, the art classes are barely available and the best art teachers have left and been replaced with general teachers who don't care. Non-AP teachers cannot control their classes. Once you get into algebra 2 or above you're stuck with one teacher where you will either fail the class if you don't already understand the math concepts or excel if you're a genius. The restrooms are disgusting, never have enough toilet paper, and smell like weed. Most of the students don't care about their education and will take away from others trying to learn."
