"The thing I love most about my school is the sense of camaraderie that is felt among the students. Students from different friend groups and academic levels can be put in classes together and the environment allows them to bond into a class unit. For example; I am an IB Diploma student taking 200 level college biology with seniors, and even though I was nervous and overwhelmed at first, the seniors really supported me. Before this last semester final, we even formed a comical prayer circle and prayed to Gregor Mendel that we would remember the stages of meiosis. Its a memory that I hope to have forever, especially because it's one my teacher captured on film in the midst of giggles."

"The teachers at Newport High can only be described as exceptional coming from a high-level student. My IB Biology teacher has won numerous awards and has met the Vice President because of them, but you can barely tell her from a surrogate mother at times because of her investment in your well-being. Although all of my teachers are tough, they teach in a way that push our abilities to the max and several times over my years while taking the PSAT or ACT I have sent out collective thanks to them for being the best influence on my life and teaching me the skills I will actually be using."

"My experience at this school was fine. I graduated with honors and made friends that I love. I wish that the school had more elective classes so that I could have explored different courses before college. The school has a great Aspire program to help students apply for college and scholarships."

"It was pretty great. I made a lot of good friends, especially in the club I joined. It's super casual and is a huge factor for the person I am today."
