"The parents are very involved in the high school. My parents in particular are very involved with me and the activities that I am involved with. These activities include extracurricular activities such as FFA and sports like tennis. I have had a positive experience here. I do wish that more emphasis was placed on academic achievement though."

"I love the environment here. The other students are really nice and excepting of each other, which I greatly appreciated coming in as a new student my sophomore year. The sports programs are also very good and the community offers a lot of support for that. I also love the family feeling that a small school such as this offers. Also, because of the location, the student body is surprisingly diverse, even though there aren't that many students."

"Weston-McEwen High School is a great place to receive an education. However, I feel that the administration places too much importance on sports rather than academics. The teachers are friendly and most of them are always willing to help out a student who is struggling. I would say the thing that the teachers struggle with the most is implementing technology into the classroom. A few teachers have managed to do it but the majority are adamant about sticking with pencil and paper."

"Since this is such a small school, I feel that the teachers genuinely care about each of the students. However, most of them are stretched beyond what they should be expected to do because of budget issues and there not being enough staff members. This means that sometimes it is harder for them to be as attentive and as they otherwise could be."

"The teachers are very kind for the most part, there are some that are not as kind or intelligent as others, it is knid of sad when the students know more than the teacher themselves."
