"I, of course, wasn't able to take all of the classes, but I took a wide variety. I dabbled in at least every subject there is to offer. I also took a mix of Advanced Placement and UW courses, which turned out to be challenging. There is a mixture of challenging and not-so-challenging classes and it is up to the student to choose which they would like to take. Classes, when it comes to scheduling, seem to be given to the students that have been there the longest. Just recently, they changed their schedule change policy, which I think is ridiculous. Students should be able to have their choice of classes and teachers if they have an issue."

"There is absolutely no problem when it comes to a sports event for the parent turn out. You can always find every athletes mom and/or dad in the stands cheering on the whole team. I know as an athlete, I received lots of attention and care from parents that were not my own. Constant involvement and reliability of the parents was needed to help my dance team become successful, and we were. Sure there were parents that did not want to be involved and did not want to spare an extra dime to help us go farther in the year, but other parents made up for the lacking. Never once did we feel like there wasn't enough help and support. I am extremely grateful for what I have received as experience from a dedicated team and parents."

"I really enjoyed my time at Kentlake. All of the staff (not only teachers) were kind and understanding. As a Falcon, I learned countless things, from the quadratic equations to ethics problems. My favorite experience was working on the newspaper, which gives students the opportunity to run a class and learn leadership skills. I would absolutely choose to attend this school again because of the kindness and spirit of the staff and students."

"There are a lot of cliques at this school. People like to think that this doesn't happen, but most people divide up by what they like and who they know rather than branching out to meet new people."

"My time at Kentlake was filled with lots of memories and great times. I spent most of my time in the dance club. From freshmen year to junior year, I spent countless hours weekly after school from 2-6 and every other Saturday for 11 months out of the year in dance. It became my life and my home outside of home. I could never have imagined a better at to spend my high school. I was also very involved in photography and my English class. From my experience, Kentlake was a great school. There were teachers that lacked a little more than others. Yet I feel I got more than enough of the support that I needed to grow into the woman I am today. I am incredibly happy I had Kentlake as my high school. As a teenage girl, you struggle in many areas while going through high school. I feel that I got a lot of support from fellow students and support from teachers, who could tell when I wasn't doing my best and knew I needed some reassurance. For my senior year, I decided to do running start and did not attend Kentlake, I did part time Green River community college. Honestly, a great choice on my part, but not going to Kentlake seemed to mix up my moods about senior year. Loosing a lot of my friendships and feeling alone. On top of feeling disclosed from many senior year activities, my father hit me with news that he no longer wanted to be my father and no longer wanted me in his life. Senior year, I truly struggled more than ever without the support of my friends and especially my father. So, I am not upset I started my AA early, but I do wish very often I could have had the support my senior year that I had from all my previous years at Kentlake."
