"Some teachers are truly passionate about their jobs and it shows. Others, I cannot believe are even allowed to be teaching children. It really depends on who you have for a class."

"The best part about going to prep is the community. Everyone is proud to be a panther and most students truly enjoy being at prep, whether in class or hanging out on the plaza after school"

"The education was just decent. Learned a lot but for the amount of work that I had to put in, I could have gone to my local public high school, taken the same classes gotten better grades and gotten into better colleges. The athletics are pretty good, better for girls than for guys. The worst of it all is the administration and the social life. First, the administration is very slow adapting and doesn't really respond to what students truly want in the classroom. It took them forever to reform their math department to make it more competitive compared to public schools and they have failed to change their college counseling program that fails to give kids solid advice and counseling on college admissions outside of the few colleges that the school has a close relationship with. That is another problem in of itself since kids do not get many colleges suggested to them, they all compete for few colleges. Finally the social life is awful. If you are someone who has friends from other schools and is fine with spending most of your free time with them then that is what prep will look like. People are really exclusive, poor in character, and the social life is just not much fun outside of school sporting events. You can save your money and get the same or better experience at a public school"

"You will get a good education if you go here, but for the money, there are other private schools that provide a better education. For one AP classes are not really available until your senior year unless your advanced in math. In English and history, you will take the same classes as everyone else your first three years. There is not much variety until your senior year, so you are forced down a path for your first three years. Teachers are good, except some grade with bias. The one thing that bugs many students and I is that classes are made a lot harder than they need to be, which makes a class that is easy to get an A in a public school hard to get a B at prep and colleges just see the grades and not the school curriculums where you got them"

"The teachers are very good. The teachers in science and mathematics are the best because they are generally the younger and more fun teachers. Almost all teachers are knowledgeable and try to make their classes engaging and original. The only thing that is sometimes tough is that for English and social studies is that teachers grade with bias and give usually the same grades to the same students and prefer rial treatment to the better students."
