"South Kitsap High School is an overcrowded place, with lots of facikities in need of repair or remodel (like the pool, bathrooms, and lockerrooms). The teachers were great for the most part. I can't imagine any of what they serve for lunches are at all healthy. But the sports programs and coaching staff were also great."

"I am enjoying my experience here at SKHS as I have met many amazing teachers and people that are willing to be there for me and for others. The band department is very close and family like as we support each other."

"South Kitsap High School has some really amazing teachers that care about your education, and want you to learn something you can use to further your life skills you can come after school and ask for help or use the library. However, it does have room for improvements, the halls are really crowded and it takes a long time to get to class to class."

"Lately, it seems the community doesn't support the school, nor does the school provide much for the community. The sports teams are terrible, the coaches don't really care about the teams except during games, when it's too late, there's no decent equipment for sports, unless it's provided by parent groups, especially for girls sports. The bond hasn't passed in years, even though they keep trying, and continue to raise the price, so it won't ever pass at that rate, as now it's too expensive for the community property owners to afford. Changes need to happen, and there needs to be better planning for the future, because Port Orchard is growing, but they are going to end up sending their kids elsewhere to school, because this one is so bad."

"Some teachers were pedophiles. Some just didn't give a damn about their students. The food was overpriced and gross. The class sizes were too large. Real lack of compassion for kids not in sports. Art programs were constantly cut. If you weren't White CIS Male-upper middle class, your chances of success were poor."
