"NA is known for its superior academics and excellent athletic programs, but the student body is by far one of the worst in the nation. The school is essentially divided into two types of people: those who are humble and respectful and those who are absolute snobs. As a school that caters to a community of upper middle class, it is expected to have some snobs in the school, but it is far from normal when more than one-third of the school falls under this category. Bullying, despite recent attempts by the district to combat it, is still a major issue as these snobs persist in harassing those who are even slightly different than the stereotypical white, straight, wealthy, and spoiled persons that dominate this school. Things have also begun to go downhill for this school, and I have lost a lot of trust in them when they considered severe cutbacks to the district's special education program, while still maintaining the GOAL (gifted student) program without any sacrifices to it. Within less than twenty years after my graduation, I can guarantee this school will be one of the worst in the state because of the student body and the school's lack of true morals."

"This is kind of difficult. I'm a 2007 graduate with mixed feelings about my education at this school and others in the district (I went Marshall Elementary > Marshall Middle > NAI > NASH). Academics are great, no question, and especially by high school you can choose between lots of electives and take tons of APs if you want to. I was definitely prepared for my college classes. I never felt unsafe there. The main downside is a culture among the students--not necessarily the teachers/staff--that encourages homogeneity and conformity. Bullying, at least when I went through the school system, was a problem. Most of the kids are at least middle class and many are upper middle, so entitlement is a huge problem. There are no social consequences among the students for being a jerk to gay kids, smart kids, weird kids, non-white kids, or poor kids because the student body at large doesn't have enough diversity for those kids to be protected. On the other hand, there are enough kids that you can usually find friends weird in the same way as you. But you're definitely in the minority if your parents aren't white, straight, Christian, Republican, and affluent."

"The teachers are not helpfull , and they are rude. "NA" does not understand the concept of bullying, This school is full of drugs! I put my son in a private school because this school was so shameful. Sewickley Academy is a much BETTER school it is not the best but it is better then "NA". Any parent trying to put their child or son in this school good luck. Junior and Senior year are important this school does not understand the concept of being modest and humble."

"I just started this school in 2011 as a senior. I move a lot because of our lifestyle and of all the schools this one is the WORST. I was all A's and B's at every other school I've went to I came here and I'm failing three classes! I really care about my education and that hurt I went home and I literally cried. I've gone to my teachers for help and most of them won't help me neither would my guidance counselor when I went to her/him. I want so badly to do really well and they aren't helping me at all. Thing with this school is they may be real good at their sports but their education sucks. I'm pulling out and finishing my year at a cyberschool were I'll get the help I need. I DO NOT recommend this school! You want a good school your better off doing cyber, private, or catholic. I've never been so dissappointed and upset with a school that I wanted to cry because I was doing so bad because they wouldn't help me. I've been fighting with them since the beginning of the year and I'm just done with it. By the time that they might decide to do something it'll be too late to fix the damage to my education. I want to succeed not fail."

"First of all, NASH has outstanding athletics and music programs. Their teachers are very well trained, and the students that work hard at this school set themselves up for great success in their future endeavours. The school community is very hands-on; you will find a lot of parent involvement in this district."
