"This school has poor programs for students who struggle with their grades. The teachers in fifth grade do not send home graded papers so every time you work with your child on homework or study for test you have no way of telling if they passed the exam or homework until report card time. If you have a problem with your child's teacher and their teaching style this school does not switch teachers leaving your child to remain with the same teacher all year long. Terrible school would not choose this school!"

"This is a great school. my daughter left a very poor taught middle school. With bad administration, bad teaching, and overall horrible, and yes its in lehigh! But Veteran's is great. The teachers care and accuatlly teach. The kids have a bond with staff and teacher. My daughter was getting bad grades at the other school ,but since moving schools she has made nothing but AB and C's. I could not be more PLEASED....I would recommend this school to everyone I know. I am sending my son as soon as he can start school...."

"If you truly think your child will get an emphasis on the arts -- think again. My child has attended VPAA for three years. He spends most of his enrichment activities doing nothing b/c the class is in trouble and being punished. While I know there are several teachers there that are outstanding, we have yet to have that pleasure. We have had a teacher who cant imagine trying anything other than what is in the textbook to one who does not speak or write properly. The principal is unyielding and allows bullying by both teachers and students to continue unchecked."
