"The teachers at Randall High School are very approachable, knowledgeable, and consistent in their teaching and grading. If I have a question on a paper I am not afraid to ask the teacher. The teacher will then have me try it while explaining it, and then let me do another question that is similar to make sure I understand the concept."

"There are a lot of teachers who are also coaches, which basically means they don't care about the students. Some teachers really do try, but not enough of them. They can rarely control a classroom, in my opinion. An absurd amount of teachers teach straight from the textbook, with easy worksheets and tests that have identical reviews. In my experience, one of the teachers actually gave the answers out and allowed students to use the key, on a FINAL. It was insane."

"Recently I participate in a national competition. The club we have at my school is called TAFE which stands for Texas Association for Future Educators, the national name is Educators Rising. What makes Randall unique is that one an event like that I have so much support from the teachers. For the preparation teachers let me give my presentation in front of the classroom. I wouldn't change schools if I had the chance, because the clubs at other schools in Amarillo don't have TAFE or Key Club. These clubs made me who I am, and I have had teacher's support the whole way."

"Randall is nice, but it's not the best. Most of the money goes to sports, and the arts and most clubs go completely overlooked. There are way too many fights, and campus staff literally doesn't care. Some kid brought a fake gun to school, and while the situation was handled well, there was no preparation. Nobody on the staff thinks ahead. I probably wouldn't choose Randall again if given the choice because the academics at other schools, like Amarillo High and Ascension Academy are so much better, but it wasn't all bad. The football was definitely a highlight, but then again, it's a high school in Texas."

"My experience at Randall High School has been very rewarding, due to the caring teachers and staff that have been there to help me along the way to graduate. The most unique thing about this school is how devoted the teachers are to their students."
