"I have worked at this school for 9 years now and I can't say enough wonderful things about it. It is filled with loving and caring educators. The students are amazing as well as their involved parents. The faculty and PTA work well together and it is a pleasure to come to work each and every day. I can't think of a better school to work in."

"Very good teachers, but the principal really needs to leave. For the sake of the children, he needs to consider retirement. I think the teachers and parents will flourish and then Albany Avenue School will be a great school."

"I find the school educationally weak. There is no challenge for kids with average intelligence. Homework is usually done in 5 minutes. Teachers are nice but curriculum is lacking strength."

"The majority of the teachers are excellent. Class placement is a problem,e.g. Too many problem children in one classroom, they should be divided amongst the four classrooms. The students that want to learn are be left on their own, bwcause all the teacher's attention is going to the 'too many problem' children."

"Most of the teachers are excellent, concerned about the children as a whole not just test scores. The principal creates a hostile work environment for the staff. Teachers will produce more if they are appreciated and treated like the professionals they are."
