"There are many Honors programs that you can take if you feel that your College Prep classes are too easy. There are little requirements needed to get into an honors class. If you are accepted into honors classes, then the door to Advanced Placement classes is also opened. There are only a few subjects that offer AP credit (most notable: History and Psychology). More choices would be nice, but overall there are opportunities to push yourself if you choose. If you have access to your own transportation, then you can go into taking college level courses outside of school at the nearby Tech College (ITT). It is not very helpful for the ones that can not drive themselves to the classes. It is the only way you are able to take them. A Compass Test is required for qualification, but all juniors are required to take the test regardless of your interest in college courses while in high school."

"The Athletic Department is going through big changes, and the parents/students are supportive of the school the whole way. Compared to previous years, attendance at basketball and football games have drastically increased. Friday Night Football is a largely celebrated event in school, and important games are followed by a week or day of school spirit. Facilities have been renewed and our fields have been renewed. However, the school does pay too much special attention towards the football players and basketball players. Other sports do not get as much support as these, nor does the academic side of the school. I am confident and hopeful that they'll focus more on the other sports, academics, and the building itself once they've filled more spaces in the trophy case."

"For the most part, teachers do what they can to help students. Ultimately, it is the student's choice to take advantage of those opportunities or not. Teachers are responsive and engaging in their lessons, and take pride in their jobs. There are a few teachers that do not keep up with grading as they should, but they openly admit it and with the slight changes happening in the school it often leads teachers to drift or forget about entering grades because of other purposes. (After school duty, faculty meetings, etc.)"
