"i will agree with another person who wrote that the academics are weak. I definitely don't feel they teach the students enough. I think students who are non english speakers gain the most knowledge in this school because they constitute a majority of the population at this school so there is more focus on educating their demographic. I don't feel my daughter learned a significant amount at this schol but I worked with her enough at home to where I feel she is still where she should be academically. The teachers are nice but I do find the prinicpal and assistant principal to be stand offish. They appear to get along well with the parents and staff they have gotten to know but do not go out of their way to embrace the newcomers. I don't think this is a terrible school but it's definitely not a great school."

"Webb is the best school I've ever been to. Even now that I'm about to graduate high school, I still think about my days there. Sometimes I wish I could go back. My teacher in sixth grade, Mrs Hernandez, cared so much about her students. If I remember right, the whole class passed the TAKS that year."

"My daughter attended a short period of time at kindergarden at Webb school and Miss Bertish made a great impact on my daughter, we had to move to Edinburg, TX but she likes this teacher a lot and I think she will attend this school again. After my daughter left she missed this teacher so Miss Bertish gave us her phone # and my baby called her when she felt sad. I think teachers do very well in this school."

"My child attended webb elementary for 4 years and i was very disappointed in the staff and curriculum there. I feel that there was not enough communication between parents and teachers. They were so quick to tell parents that their child was failing or had ADD. That was their own personal opinion because of the fact that the children had a hard time with the taks test, which overwhelmed alot of us parents and put extra pressure on the students. And they don't do a very good job of supervising the children. they just expect them to grow up faster than they are ready, and i feel that these are still children no matter what and shouldn't be pressured like this."
