"This is the (WORST) so called place of learning I have ever come across. The children who go here are the most rudest, arrogant, disrespectful and dysfunctional group of young generation that zI have ever seen. I am NOT impressed with any of these youngsters, well maybe some, who are hidden, but I don't blame the few goid kids that do attend Chi high. My advice to allll the students who are there to accomplish one goal, CONTINUE TO WORK HARD, ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS AND GET THE HELL OUT that school. The worst is yet to come. There are some disturbed children who attend Chi high and they are crying out for help, but they are not receiving it, so they act out. The principal Better do something quick."
"there are fights, bullies, and too much work! well its actually not half bad its just like every other school there are great music and arts programs, lots of choices to help get you ready for college and for the career you want to pursue! the teachers are wonderful and kind( and the science teachers even have snakes!!!) overall even with the schools "minor" flaws its a pretty great place!"
"My school Is horrible, fights and gangs are everyday things, the school seriously sucks, teachers getting put in ambulances and stuff, like no..."
"Chichester did not prepare me for college though I took advantage of every opportunity offered. For example, I earned the highest score in the school on a nation-wide standarded Spanish exam: a 42%."
"OK so this high school is a "lower-upper" school experience. The school is not so great based on test scores and the demographics of this district. They really don't have a lot to offer academically, it is a very "throw back" school stuck in a time warp. If you want any thing challenging, like a STEM program, or excellent collage guidance services, this is not the place for you. Fights, cursing, etc are all the norm at this school. I think the school tries, but there is too much focus on the kids that are having behaviour problems. There is a huge drug problem, not only in the high school, but the middle school as well, my child has seen drug use first hand at these schools. Some of the classes are out of control and the teacher cannot teach, just looking at the school, you would say it is obviously in a financially strained area. There is nothing done to the grounds to make it attractive, there are spots with no grass, trash, etc. I can see that the teachers are trying, but thoses who want to learn and may be a middle learner are sometimes overlooked. I would advise parents to either move into a better district that can offer more opportunities or consider a private school."
