"I suppose most students here are open minded and able to interact easily with others. However, there's a clear sharp line of boundaries on a group of students; it's not really much about race anymore; it's about not interacting with anyone else but your friends. Since they're so close, they can't ever see any faults about themselves, nor will they will accept other's suggestions and intentions that some of their opinions are not right. I suppose they're good at bonding and strongly defending themselves, and drawing a clear boundary and social group against others. I suppose they're not hostile racist people but they're not open or accepting to expanding their circle."

"A school is made up of the students, teachers, and it's specific standards set for things like discipline, students acceptance into college rates, graduation rates, and an healthy environment. I suppose it's not the school's fault if most of the students that attend are lacking in respect and discipline, or the care and guidance of teachers or adults. I suppose it's natural for teachers and administration to get frustrated and develop a lack of respect towards the students as well. My only suggestion is that students and teachers both try on their parts to improve their relationships, as well as develop a sense of care for the purpose of school, which is education and a pathway towards their goals in life. There must be a set of rules and discipline, as well as consequences and clear efforts to make sure certain things don't happen again. In order to introduce the concept of school spirit and the nation of a school, all students must be able to respect, interact, and have faith in one another; this also includes the teachers. People shouldn't have to feel shunned like outcasts, or be subject to racial harassment and stereotypes. Students shouldn't have to walk down hallways walking quickly and keeping heads low, always fearing of being called out and verbally harassed. Speaking of hallways, remember before we reached high school we had to always walk on the right side? Whatever happened to that; what was the whole purpose of that if everyone could just walk wherever they want, stop right in the middle of the hallway with their friends, or make out with their current dating partners and cause a stream of thick traffic?"

"There are teachers who know what they're doing, while there are teachers who don't. There are teachers who care and inquire about students, but most teachers don't think to do so. Teachers are able to talk to the classroom, but not really to individual students. Most teachers expect students to figure out what activities they're interested in, or the classes they'll take; these are things to them that can be discussed with counselors or only during parent conferences, so they don't inquire about these. Some teachers play favorites and give you a good grade at the end so that students' grades will not be reflected badly upon them."

"There are a lot of AP, honor, and elective classes that students could choose to take; the schedule isn't had to remember, the workload depends on the level of difficulty of class you're taking; if it's normal or advanced it's manageable, if it's AP it consumes a lot of time based on self learning and reading page after page after text book, then being tested over the material (this process isn't very efficient for most students by the way). I don't know what special study options are supposed to mean; if it's referring to giving a study hall time or anything, there is no such thing. It's a nightmare to miss a day of school and come back to find yourself behind and having to do more work, as well as maybe take some tests that you weren't prepared for. It's horrid that you can't retake or make up tests, and if you're behind you're basically alone, and you just have to keep on moving and try to keep up with the material that is being caught. You take your own notes, and make your own flashcards and lecture notes to study by yourself, because how the hell will you remember or study anything from reading page after page of words in a huge thick textbook? Some teachers teach as if you've already learned some of the material and have a basic understanding of it when you don't, and create bizarre tests that aren't even relevant to what little was taught in class."
