"The school is very large with thousands of students. A typical public high school. It is very easy to get lost in the system and to be treated as just another number. There are a few really cool courses they offer such as foods, and the many art classes. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I was not a fan of how it seemed as if I was just another number however. It is not a very personal experience at all."

"I loved all of my teachers at OE. They all sincerely cared about their students and wanted to see us succeed. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, everybody was tolerant of everybody no matter their race or interests. School spirit was high in everything from athletics to academics to theatre."

"Hello! I am a student at Oswego East High School; home of the wolves. I have always taken much pride in my school. East is a place known for opportunities and its outstanding school spirit. This school has so many different way to get involved such as; clubs, spots and activities. While i am excited to graduate, at heart I will always be a wolf."

"I like that that they try to make everyone feel involved and accepted. There are many clubs and groups for people to get involved in that cover various topics. They focus a lot on school spirit and making everyone feel welcome. I came into OE my junior year and people were very nice to me, the administration made sure I was fitting into my classes and knew where everything was. I also feel more welcomed and accepted here than at my old school. I am very glad I got to experience two years at OE, I wish I could have been here for all four."

"My experience being a student as Oswego East has overall been good. Most of the teachers there are really great and most of the time I feel like I am really learning in classes. One aspect of our school that I think is really important are the number of clubs and sports that are available to students. If you're interested in something then there is a club for you. If there isn't then it is really easy to start one. This is a great way to enhance our education and be able to connect with other students. One of the things that I don't like about Oswego East is the sheer number of people in attendance to the school. Most days, I feel like just a face in the crowd and I feel like it would be great if my principal could know my name and my counselor could recognize me in the hallway. The only people that do connect with the administration are the kids that are always in the office and they probably need that connection more than I do."
