"Student and teacher safety is not a top priority at this school and it needs to be. The number 1 priority are the test scores. Leaders of the school need more experience, education and exposure to the importance of early childhood education. I would not recommend it as a place to send your children or a place to work."

"The teachers at this school work very hard to give students the best possible education. However, in grades that teach subjects that are tested on TAKS nothing else is taught except the test. Most of the teachers are very nurturing, however there are always exceptions. I have seen teachers disrespecting both the students and parents. They have a great after school program for children who do not have to take after school math and reading classes."

"I had a child who attended Andrews. The teachers were knowledgable and caring. The work was challenging and she is well prepared for middle school. If I had a concern the principal and teachers were always available to talk to me."

"My son has attended Andrews since PreK. He has had excellent teachers supported by a committed administration. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful school."

"Mrs. Betty Jo Hudspeth, previous Principal, and Mrs. Laurie Barber, current Principal, are committed and have successfully built a foundation for academic excellence. Their leadership at Andrews helps to bridge the family values and expectations for academic excellence and promote positive citizenship for the students at Andrews. I have personally had the opportunity to interact with Andrews' administrators and teachers and find that they exhibit high moral and ethical values as well. There's satisfaction in knowing Andrews Elementary is our neighborhood school. Continue to pursue the best for our students!"
