"I attended Martin several years ago, so my review may be a bit out of date. A lot of the problems I saw there was a lack of parental support. Students had a bad attitude towards school because their parents gave them no encouragement or support. But the teachers were there for the students. I got all the support and attention I needed, made straight As, was in choir, played sports, and had several high school credits by the end of 8th grade. If Martin could get better parental and community support, and some more money from the school district to provide good school programs, i think it has a lot of potential"

"My child attends Martin, and although I see issues with the general atmosphere, students, and parents, I also see where leadership and teachers are trying to make changes. They realy keep an eye out for my daughter, keep her in mind for special programs, an she is treated well by her teachers and principals. A major part of the school's/child's success also depends on parental involvement at school and at home, and that is probably the biggest weakness."
