"Wonderful school! My children are in their 3rd year and almost hate the year to end! Good teachers and an awsome Elementary Principal. Consistent reasonable discipline as well. The only thing that should change is the kids that hang out in the parking lot and walk through it instead of down the sidewalk. That's a bit dangerous and they pay no attention."

"Very good school with good leadership from the Superintendent and Elementary Principal. Several steps have been made in the past two years to bring the elementary to greater achievments."

"This is the second year my son has gone to Ore City Elementary and my daughters first. They both love the school and their teachers. I am involved in my childrens education and I have to say everything I have seen at this school has been impressive. The children are very well cared for and disciplined. I am looking forward to my children finishing their academics at Ore City."

"The OCISD Elementary is a very good school. It is, for the most part, well balanced and well funded. The changes the administration and school board have made in the past few years have been very positive. The TAKS scores for the students were excellent this year. OCISD Elementary has some areas that need to be worked on, the same as any other school. I would say this school is above average."
