"The culture and diversity at our school is bad. It has to get better."

"The teachers at Baker High School are great. Aprroximately only 75% of the teachers go above and beyond for their students. Then the other 25% are just saying if you don't want to learn then that's your problem. That's completely understandable, because at my school so many students just want to play and get into trouble all day long instead of trying to learn. Then the next thing they say is that the teachers don't teach. The teachers do teach, and some of them teach very well. But at the same time students have to want it as well ". The quality of the teachers at Baker High School is very good. Their teaching styles are toltally different, but that's good because they have a way of interpreting different things to make you understand things a lot better. Sometimes the teachers' interest in students I think drops because some of the student body just comes to school to play and distract others from getting their education. Which is hard. Also the teachers' communication skills are great. Their consistency in grading is great also."

"The academics at our school are okay, but I think that they could be better. They don't have enough to offer."

"My overall experience at this school has been great, but the only problem that I have is I feel like they don't challenge us. For example, when we go off to college no professor will tell us when to copy notes, or etc. We will have to know that on our own. In college, they will not baby us. To me high school and school period is all about getting your ready for the real world. But something's in high school are just not getting us ready. We've always had to deal with not having a math teacher or english teacher, and that was very had since middle school. The teachers we have now are very dedicated and making sure that we are understanding lots of different concepts. Also I just think that things would work better to me if they treat us like we are in college so that we can adjust to all the things that are going to computer way, especially studying habits. In all of my years that I have been in school, I have never known the proper way to study. That irritates me because I want to know how, I want to know how I can tell if things are important."
