"We have a lot of opportunities to be in different kinds of classes with great teachers and students. The schedule is set up really nice and manageable. The workload is pretty nice and easy to do. And a lot of students usually pick the a-g pathway."

"At the beginning of my junior year, I started to attend this school. I was so excited to meet new people, make new friends, create great memories, and get involved with the school. I took notice that the students here at Ridgeview High School do not interact as much as I thought they would. I tried to talk to students but they would either completely shut me out of a group conversation/activity. It took me my whole entire junior to at least make two friends. My senior year, I tried to join the basketball team. But unfortunately, they had the most favorable ones that were going to have the most (if not all) playing time. I believe that if you are on a team it should be equal. As of right now I am involved in the Drama performance (DP) department and I absolutely love it! The DP class is like one big family. That is when I socialize and interact the most. If I had the opportunity to choose this school again I would just so that I would be able to get involved again with the drama department."

"The overall impression of the staff and teachers is mixed because there is a wide range of diversity. Teachers from the upper division classes, like AP and honors, are generally great teachers who are dedicated to their job; they go out of their way to help students succeed. However, the curriculum for the college preparatory(CP) classes seem to be far below the standards of what constitutes an actually CP class. The expectations for the general students is far more lenient and teachers seem less concerned about the students, which may be the distinction between honors level and CP classes. However, the low expectations for general level students is far too low to actually help students strive to succeed and reach their maximum potential."

"My overall experience is really enjoyable. What makes this school unique is our school spirit. Some students that are not into school spirit and what not still have a little bit of school spirit. This year our football team made Ridgeview High undefeated 22-0, which we are all proud of. We work as a team and we fight as a team. You can say that 80% of us are school spirited and the 20% are into forensics, debate, or just not into the school teams or sports. The thing I like about Ridgeview High are that we make a warm welcome to all freshmans. When I was in 8th grade going into 9th, my friends and kids around us were pretty scared because, there were rumors going around the high school is scary and it's going to be very hard. But during our freshman orientation in the gym made us already feel pumped up, excited, and think that we were already students there. I was really excited. Also there's no bullies at Ridgeview, and if somebody sees that someone is being mean or nasty to somebody else we all take action or whoever is near. And if I had to do school all over again, this all explains, I would."

"The teachers teach very good and allow class discussions which is very good. It's a really good experience talking with students and the staff and get to know different points of views on stuff. We also introduced the idea of technology which is a good opportunity to learn more about ans on technology. The teachers are really nice. For example, we had a substitute in our English class and she didn't explain the topic very well, so I went to another English major teacher and she explained as if I was in her class. So teachers here at Ridgeview High are really caring and not selfish."
