"I love this school because the people that my kids see everyday are like a big family and my kids love to get up and get going!"

"Recently new to the area, my husband and I were nervous about having our children start at new schools. We were blessed that they were able to attend Washington. Our son had Ms. Andes in 2nd grade and she did a fantastic job. His reading scores rose each quarter and he has developed into a much better reader! She also had the student s complete fun and educational projects that made learning fun! Communication between home and school was so important to us and we found that a plus at this school."

"This school is terrible. The teachers only care about retirement. They have no idea how to relate to children, with the exception of the kindergarten teacher. They are terrific. The education is poor. It is a state wide problem. Pa school have never been on the tops schools in America that newsweek puts out every year. If the caliber of people in Bangor is any indication of the quality of education that the students receive, then the school system needs to step up and care about the qaulity of education and not about saving a buck. I can only hope that in another year I can save enough money to send my child to a private school."

"My son will start 2nd grade and my daughter, kindergarten. We have only good things to say about the school. There are many volunteers (mainly parents)who assist in the day to day runnings of the school. We all seem to strive for the same thing, to provide a fun educational cuuiculum that all can exceed in..."

"I love this school! Miss Horne is my son's 3rd grade teacher. She does an outstanding job! My son's grades are excellent! Alot of personal attention is given to meet students needs. Mrs. Burnette the reading teacher is wonderful as well. Overall I think this is a GREAT school!"
