"I am incredibly disappointed with this school. My daughter and I recently moved to this state, and I must say, I don't approve of TEACHERS using such grammar as "We is going to go outside today" and words like "y'all" and "ain't". You are EDUCATORS. It is your JOB to promote proper grammar skills and proper English. I don't believe that "Well you're in the south now, we speak differently here" is an excuse. I've met some really amazing people here who speak perfect English, and don't believe that geographical location should be an issue when teaching! In addition, when looking over my daughters holiday take home work, it was filled with "2, 4, *, 8. What number comes between 4 and 8!". This is second grade work? This looks like stuff she did in kindergarten. or "Color in the square!" Really? Don't let me get into the fact that 90% of her CLASS apparently mouths off. And no I don't mean they just talk back, my daughter comes home telling me about how so and so told the Music teacher "f u", and no, not just the letters, the ACTUAL WORDS which my daughter knows better than to repeat. In this instance, I don't blame just the teachers in that, but they shouldn't just say it's 'ok'."

"I really dislike this school mainly because I'm concerned about my child's safety. They are rude and don't take very good care of the kids. I pick up my 4 year old in the afternoon and they don't even see me do it. Also when you drop them off, they don't let you go through the u- drive... They have a 9 year old girl standing in the MIDDLE of the DRIVE by the road directing traffic, blocking cars from entering the school, and yelling at people when they park on the grass. I guess they just want you to let your kid out in the road and they can hike up to the cafateria.. because you can't park and walk them in either.. or else you get cussed by some little girl. I am not by any means over-exaggerating. Going to be transferring her somewhere MUCH better"

"This is a school constantly changing. It has a lot of nice teachers, and a good coach. My kids were there for some years when we were in Baton Rouge. It is much better than you could imagine by just looking at it. most of the teachers in this school have masters degree. The students there are mostly nice. it is an school of average or above."

"I worked at UTE for one year. The staff are super supportive. The principal is kind and experienced at her profession. I loved the LSU volunteers and the community input. The students were respectful, capaple, connected, and positive. Spend time at UTE so you can truly appreciate the dedication by Toni and the entire student body and staff...I miss you guys so much!"

"This is by far the worst school I have ever seen. The staff is uninformed and uncaring. The children are left to fend for themselves. I only allowed my daughter to attend for 2 days. I regret even letting her go that long. I do not reccomend this school to anyone. If you have any other option it has got to be better than this."
