"The school that i am now attending is okay. I say this because you have students who disrupt class"

"All the teacher at Martin Van Buren High school are very hardworking and intelligent. Whenever a student is struggling with their work or need extra help after school they are willing to take time out of their day to help and make sure students understand what their learning. They are very respectful, and always know how to get a class to calm down and get involved in their school work and pay attention. Also when there is a student not doing well in their class, they always sit the student down to try and help them set goals to improve their grades. They are very good with communicating with all the students and their staff; everyone knows one another and is always there with a helping hand."

"My teachers go above and beyond to teach my classmates and I about different topics. I am very engaged in class because my teachers make learning fun. They are very helpful if you have any questions or need any extra help. They make sure no child gets left behind. If a specific student needs extra help, most teachers would even give up their lunch break to further explain the lesson to them. The students are willing to learn and participate a lot. All of my teachers respect me and are non-judgmental. The grading policy is fair. If our grades aren't that high, some teachers will give us a chance at extra credit to boost up our average. They aren't just teachers, they're also our mentors that guide us into the right path."

"This school has a lot of great teachers that actually care about their students. The school itself isn't that clean. There's usually trash in the middle of the hallway, or gum stuck onto a seat or door. Most students care about their education, but others just cut class and often get in trouble. This school does offer a decent amount of clubs and sports, but it lacks the funding that we need to buy new equipment, or supplies. My best decision I made in this school was joining Scholars. You need to have high grades and perform community service. We are involved in Jr. Achievement, every year since I was a sophomore, we volunteered our time instructing students at a local elementary school. I enjoyed teaching them, at the end of the day they didn't want me to leave, and neither did I. If I could do it all over, I don't know if I would go to Martin Van Buren again. This school isn't the best, but I made connections with people that I might not have made with in another school. Also in this school, I stand out more because I am in the top 10% of my entire graduating class."

"Martin Van Buren High School is one of the great school now, because now this school provide lots of extra curriculums activities. Such as like after class which can help student to get some extra time to do what subject they need help with. Also some students can do community service and leadership."
