"Stuyvesant provides a great environment to students who seek to surround themselves with equally well-performing peers."

"One of Stuyvesant's strengths is the many resources available to students. In terms of academic papers and references, the Stuyvesant Library gives access to a wide variety of subjects for whatever study the student requires. In addition, there are many counselors who are equipped and willing to answer any question, whether it be for college or any of life's struggles in and out of school."

"My experience at Stuyvesant was life changing, and I wouldn't trade anything for it. There were highs and there were low's on my journey in Stuyvesant, and I learned something new and informative throughout each day. The teachers there are nice, and so are the staff. The security and administration there are very welcoming and also protective about their students. The school truly gives you the real insight to life and prepares you for the future that lies ahead. If I had the chance, I'd go back and take more AP's and learn more things from Stuyvesant. The amount of resources and activities are endless, and you'll never be bored in your high school life at all. The academics are quite demanding, but overall it's worth the struggle. If you want to really understand the meaning of life and be prepared for college and beyond, this school is definitely where you should attend."

"Just last fall, I was entering Stuyvesant for the first time as an incomer from a small and non-diverse middle school community. Now, I'll be a rising sophomore and there's so much to say from the experience of just one year. Everyone is mature, thoughtful, and respectful of others. Not only is every class diverse and aims to be insightful, no matter how competitive we are, everyone is willing to help their peers to succeed as well. Many of my teachers are humorous and are always willing to teach. With a number of guidance counselors, a friendly student body, and a staff that tries to be available for their students as much as possible, Stuyvesant is a place that I've really come to love and cherish. Of course, there are some problems, such as the conditions of the gym locker room bathrooms and the terrible quality of the school lunch which sometimes barely nourishes me in the late afternoon, but at Stuyvesant, it truly is the thought that counts."

"Very difficult curriculum, very advanced, and prepares you well for college. The stress level is very high, but it is very rewarding."
