"Being a student at tottenville high school for four years was such an amazing experience. Most of the teachers are so nice and really know what theyre teaching. I 100% suggest joining a club for something that interests you, it'll really help you make friends and find support for your four years here."

"Tottenville was a place I was reluctant to start. Initially devastated by not making my top choice for high school, I was bitter walking through the doors of Tottenville. Little did I know, the next four years would be nothing but a enlightening educational experience. The teachers connect with the students on a personal level making them easy to talk to and always able to raise your hand and ask questions. I never have felt unsafe in the school and extra curricular clubs and activities kept me occupied after school. Clubs and sports teams made it easy to get to know people and not feel so out of place as when you first walk through the scary doors. Speaking on behalf of many of the students, the dress code was too much too handle when the temperatures got so rough. Overall, my experience at Tottenville High School has brought me nothing but happiness and I can't wait to apply everything I have been taught in future life/academic situations."

"I believe Tottenville High School is a fantastic learning institution whereas you can get the knowledge that is needed as well as learn a trade in-house from culinary to automotive just to name a few. The demographics for this school is very diverse with many people from many cultures. This is a great place to make friends, play sports, join clubs(which there are many), be involved with peer leadership programs and much much more."

"Overall, Tottenville High School is a great academic and sports oriented school. It has a science and classics institute, as well as many classes such as Med Tech, Dental and Culinary. I love science, so the science institute was perfect for me, however, if you want to be in top ten in your graduating class then the much easier classes institute is way to go. Even staying in honors classes might get you in top ten or top 2% in your senior year. Yes, the brightest student are in the science institute and they have high scores, but the work is far more rigorous than any other route you can take in the school. As with any school, there are great teachers and there are teachers who make you wonder how they even got certified. There is a problem with bullying, but I firmly believe that stems from family lifestyle of students. The school is diverse is ways such as race, religion and social/economical."
