"ugggg... problems with the administration, takes weeks to schedule an appointment to address problems, very tough to take. Went to the board of ed. and was talked down to by some secretary who wouldn't let us meet with the superintendent. Problems district-wide."

"We had a terrible experience with South Avenue and had to remove our children because of what we felt was poor teacher performance and a general lack of discipline within the school. They would not allow much parent visitation citing the unruly nature of the students as a reason. We are at another school district in the region and the difference is night and day. Our children are doing much, much better."

"My son has been in attendance for the last two years at South Avenue School. Over these two years I have seen considerable growth in my child. His reading level has increased approximately 4 levels. His concentration skills have improved and in turn his test scores have improved."
