"Monessen Middle School has a great staff and students who are extremely talented in the arts and sciences. The Middle gifted students have won the architectural design contest for three straight years!!! Our students are not blessed with unending resources due to our declining tax base but certainly make the most of all they given and continue to achieve greatness!!!"

"I am extremely disappointed in the school district and the middle school in particular. When my daughter asks for help with something she does not understand she is told to 'look it up in the book'. I thought that teachers were hired to teach. I have also been told by my child and others that classes are extremely disruptive as the teachers do not exert any authority over the students. All and all a bad learning environment. The principle has been no help whatsoever."

"This school is very nice. The teachers and staff work very hard to incorporate fun activities into everyday learning periods."
