    "This school is very disappointing. I have two children enrolled in the school, preschool and grade 1. It is very troubling to see the lack of enthusiasm in the young teachers. Communication has been an ongoing problem. While teachers have access to email and technology is abundant in the district teachers refuse to use email to communicate with parents. Phone calls and notes have often been ignored. Students are not actively engaged in their learning and parents are kept out of the learning process. Students are given endless amounts of "busy work" and tested without notice. I have sought assistance from the building principal and don't feel he is very responsive either. The school staff, teachers and principal should be more invested in their students and community. SRH Elementary School has great facilities, tremendous technology, but low quality professional staff. The NJDOE needs to provide better oversight of funding in this school to insure that teacher and administrative quality equals that of the facility and technology. In addition to high property taxes, I will now be paying private school tuition for my two children. SRH is in need of much improvement."

    "SRH School is much like a private school. Parent involvement is very high. Teachers are totally committed and enthusiastic, especially in the lower grades. The special subjects teachers that teach computer ed and instrumental music are exceptional. As parents, we feel secure sending our children there. The principal is positive and welcoming. Our chilcren score high on state tests and we are kept in the loop about everything that goes on in the school. Our kids love it."

    "This is a warm, inviting schhol that offers many educational opportunities for pre K -5 children. i ahve been impressed with the level of skill my son has developed in the use of computers at such a young age. He is happy to go to school every day . His teachers work very hard to reach all the students.the PTA is exceptional."

    "My son is in Mrs. Kirk's preschool class and she is excellent. Since the beginning of the year my son has learned so much and comes home with something new every day. I'm definitely looking forward to having Mrs. Kirk teach my son again for the second year or preschool."
