"All three of our children are at WCA even though we live in Mill Valley. Our 5th grader started WCA while we lived in Sausalito. We loved the school so much we stayed even after moving out of the district. We feel that our children are thriving in the project based learning environment where parent involvement is encouraged. We have felt listened to by the current administration and the past. The school has a strong community feel to it, where you can develop a strong relationship with your child's teacher as well as the other teacher's on campus. We feel our children are not only learning how to learn, but how to be a positive part of a community. As a parent we could not ask for a more well rounded school to send our children."

"Project based learning and parent involvement are two of the reasons Willow Creek stood out to us when looking at schools. Project based learning allows for hands-on, creative and more dynamic learning. Willow Creek teaches kids how to learn, so that they will be lifelong learners. The kids' ideas are encouraged, they contribute to the class, to the lessons, and explore ideas together in a safe environment. Willow Creek is a place where creativity is sparked and confidence is built. Both the kids and parents have the opportunity to contribute to the benefit of the school in a huge variety of ways. It's so much more than a school, it's a community, everyone helping and lifting one another to higher heights."

"Willow Creek Academy Charter School is a superb educational community. Our son, a 4th grade has attended WCA since kindergarten. Each year we are once again grateful for the quality of education and attention his teachers provide in the classroom, on field trips or outside. The combination of the interactive and multi-dimensional learning experience, (whether the teacher's instruction is in the classroom or outside) , the natural beauty of the campus, create an exciting learning environment which our son loves and 'digs' into each day. Lastly, my husband and I, as parents, feel a deep sense of pride as we too continue to learn, support and contribute to the growth of our school together with the dynamic, multi-ethnically rich community of Willow Creek's children and families."

"Love this school! Have a fifth grader and a third grader. It is an amazing program with big focus on academics, project based learning and field trips. Love the art and music program too. Only bad thing to say is that the lunch program could be more tasty."

"This is our first year at Willow Creek (my daughter is in K) and we couldn't be happier, especially her which is what really counts. Every morning she's excited to go to school. Her teachers are extremely experienced but are also continually updating their skills with new techniques, the classroom size is perfect (18 kids, 2 teachers), the project based learning style gives the kids a great depth of learning they respond well too (even I'm learning a thing or 2...) and there is a real sense of community around the school. I also get the feeling that the school is not happy with the status quo and is continually looking for ways to better itself overall. So I can't recommend it enough!"
