"Teachers are pretty good apart from the fact that they can be really bad about not grading/ keeping up with work for pretty obvious reasons and it can be really annoying. Teaching style is mostly lecture based with tests typically occurring on Fast Fridays. Most teachers are good about being invested in their students though you will get one or two that simply don't care. Most of the teachers I've had genuinely enjoy what they do and have a positive attitude about teaching. I count myself lucky that I've had most of the teachers I've had through the years because they made classes enjoyable and learning complicated concepts painless."

"Touching on all topic examples given: Teachers: there are a lot of great teachers here that have gone above and beyond to help me as an individual succeed in a school of 4500+ . There are also some teachers that are great as people but not great at teaching. I have not had a teacher that was an awful person and an awful teacher. Overall I have found the best teachers to be in the social students and elective departments. Curriculum: Depending on the class some concepts or entire units can feel too rushed while others can feel like a slog for no good reason. Otherwise, most classes have been pretty solid. Scheduling: Due to the vast amount of classes available it can be difficult choosing what to take, but in the end there is something for everyone. I am very lucky, as I have had an amazing experience with scheduling since my counselor has always been really great with getting me the schedule I needed. Workload: Workload opinions will differ drastically depending on who you ask due to a multitude of different factors. For me, it's been really stressful. The work itself may not be particularly difficult, but the sheer amount of work can really mess with you at times. Special Study Options: My teachers have encouraged the use of tutoring, study groups, seminar conferences, etc. There are plenty of opportunities to succeed if you simply ask and try. Popular Classes: With over half the student pop. taking at least least 1 AP course more students at BHS choose advanced classes over regular. Beyond that, everything seems to be relatively popular here due to the diverse and large student body."

"Most teachers are enthusiastic about their class content but some teachers do not care to be there and turn out to do more harm than good when it comes to learning the material."
