"being at BMS from 2004-2008 was one of the best and worst experiences of my life. some teachers really got on my nerves and were downright mean to kids (not sure why they chose to be a teacher) yet some teachers really wanted to listen to what the kids had to say. 8th grade was probably the best year (DC trip was awesome) otherwise 5th-7th were not the best years of my life."

"Top school. On par with many of the local, highly ranked private schools. Very involved parents organizations. Some very wonderful teachers."

"We moved here from out of state - initially the staff was helpful and friendly. The more questions we ask the less friendly and helpful they've become. They pass the buck and refer parents to the website which is rarely up to date --- frustrating."

"I think this is a great school! It offers a variety of classes and really challenges the kids. BMS encourages individual responsibility and accountability, which is a bugaboo for the parents of some 'misunderstood' children, but BMS really does a good job! There are some very passionate teachers and some creative programs. Overall, very good experience here."
