"My daughter is a freshman at BHS. This is her first year at a large public institution, so you can imagine the anxiety and concern both she and her parents had when enrolling her into BHS. However, the teachers and school guidance counselor have been very helpful in making her transition uneventful. The caliber of the student body is not where we would expect it to be, but I believe the new Principal, Mr. Galloway is the right person to bring about the necessary changes to make BHS a first rate post secondary school. BHS's renovated facility and new Board of Ed team will help to improve the quality of the school district."

"Bloomfield high school is wonderful. Due to caring and active parents who take great pride in their schools, the state scores are superior and the sat's are rising every year. Bhs is clearly one of the top schools in the state."

"My daughter attends BHS and is doing very well. The staff and Principal are approachable and eager to assist in anyway. However PTO participation by parents is very low and the same few parents come month after month."

"I am a student at BHS and I believe that the administrators, faculty and students are trying to make an improvement. They are becoming more strict and focusing more on academics. providing students with free tutors, SAT study sessions and etc. Although they lack when it comes to extracurricular activities(besides sports) this school strives to give student a chance to excell. There just needs to be more organization and parent involvement. Statistics mean nothing, CAPT scores seem low but for those who tried they did very well. The school is only as good as each invividual student and BHS is working on helping every student get a great education."
