"There aren't many opportunities for kids who push to succeed at this school, and the individuals who don't want to be there hinder the learning experiences of those who try. Despite all feeble attempts to keep the children at this school behaved, I wouldn't choose this school again due to its lack of focus on the students who attend school to learn as opposed to play around."

"The school is insanely diverse with students of every socioeconomic, racial, and religious background. Our school also offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities; if a student is not able to find a club that perfectly fits him/her, he/she can start a new club. In addition, there are a myriad of social events throughout the school year; some involve just the school, others the whole community."

"The teachers are excellent with the students. They will put extra times after school to go over things with individuals that needs tutoring. There are a lot of different activities and clubs at this school for students to join. Maintenance on the building needs a little adjustment but overall, this school is wonderful."

"I often tell people that Norristown area high school gets a bad reputation, but it is a great school. I feel the teachers are passionate about helping their pupils reach their dreams and full potential, but are hindered by the lack of support from the administration. Our teachers do the best they can (most of them) but without the backing of a school board they don't have many options. Our school superintendent is awful. I don't use the term lightly, she is absolutely horrible. If we have a concern, and press to meet with her, we get dismissed and written off. She doesn't want us to succeed, she wants to line her pockets. She gives us fake endearments and promises that she never keeps. She only sees us students as numbers in a book and cares more about standardized test scores then making the school a better learning environment. And if you speak up, your dismissed, because your just a student. Thats why our save the arts plea went unaddressed. The school is great, but the people behind it arent."

"THe courses are extremely easy and I believe they need to be more challenging. The disciplinary actions at this school are poor, kids get away with everything."
