"A majority of the teachers at Bonita require you to do presentations and a great amount of group work."

"My experience at Bonita was definitely not an easy one, however the courses and teachers changed my life forever. A lot of the teachers at Bonita are not focused on making their students pass the exams, but rather how you delve into your own perception and critical thinking. They have amazing counselors that will help push you to pursue your goals. The thing is many students do not communicate with their teachers and administrators as much as they should."

"Bonita Vista High School, Is in the heart of Chula Vista. A town in southern San Diego filled with multiple cultures and people of different socioenomic status, thus having a great appreciation for diversity. Students at Bonita Vista High School embody this diversity. There were no cliques, everyone was friends with everyone, which made it much easier to focus on school without the distraction of fitting in or worrying about high school drama. Friends I've made in high school are still my best friends. Being a Baron has also helped me at San Diego State University, because i embrace diversity, i was able to get a job at SDSU's International Student Center. Where i then became treasurer of the international student association, and began working as a mentor for the incoming international freshman. Going to Bonita Vista High School has shaped who i am, and who i will become."
