"Bonita has more spirit than most, we are an accredited school, and we have the highest API score in the district (: GO BARONS <3"

"BVHS is a public school with additional opportunities (IB, AP, Performing Arts, 6 language programs, etc.) As a public school, there are limitations with administration, teachers, and the students themselves. There is a strength in diversity among the students and a new more invigorated teaching staff."

"I've been going here since half of my sophomore and now my junior year. I can say that BVH is not a school you want to go to. For the most part teachers don't care if you have trouble with the material, I've tried asking for help but only received a one minute quick help session. Their security is so damn low, you can jump the fence in and out during breaks and during class, you can just walk into a classroom and pull your friend out with questions. The staff/counselors were of no help and lack approachability/friendlyness. I'm currently attending the BVH learning center and let me just say that I've improved tremendously. Please don't send your kid here. They'll end up a druggie. BVH is overall not a good environment."

"I am A freshman Currently in my second week, and while it may be premature, I would like to venture an opinion. Everything seems a bit rushed, and a bit impersonal, with very many students, and not much to do. To attend Assemblies you have a spirit Shirt, which you must buy. The ASB seems to be open a bity irregularly, and I have yet to see the principal. The Teachers are mostly fine, good people. to have a 'Spirit Shirt'"

"I graduated from BVHS last year. I remember how prestigious Bonita Vista used to be. We were once held very high and students were proud to be there. From my freshman year to my senior year I noticed a great change. As much as I appreciated the cultural diversity in the beginning towards the end of high school, after Ramon Leyba left everything became too relaxed. I loved my teachers and have great respect for them all. I noticed that students began to lose school spirit. Students lost respect for their teachers, too. But lastly, I saw a lack of motivation and discipline. Plus, the school overpopulated."
