"I loved this school when i went to it the teachers really wanted s to excel in our work. The new principal is really bad though. I loved the old one but she sadly had to move to another school :("

"Chula Vista Hills is a GREAT school! The teachers are wonderful and the education is TOP notch! The few complaints here about the principal are obviously from parents who are never happy with anything or do not like to hear the truth about their children. There are a few viral parents at our school who continue to spread hate about the principal because they can't get over the old principal leaving. As for poor leadership, our school was in the 900 club this year and was awarded the CA Distinguished School award for 2012. If the teachers don't like her, sorry, you don't have to be her friend. That should have nothing to do with our children."

"I have been a parent at CVH for over 9yrs with 2grads and 1child still attending this school. I have experience the old and the new. It is ashme that our old principal was replaced by a new principal whom has brought many problems to our school. Before she came everyone communicated, solved issues as 1 from the principal to the teachers to the parents. our school was known as one of the friendliest places where all parents were welcomed and were very involved in school. however, It is so sad to see this disapear with the new principal as our leader. I know for a fact there are many present teachers that are more qualified for this position than the new principal whom only had previous 2nd grade teacher experience from another school. Parents are being pushed away from school when inquring on their chilldren. Power control and disrimination to minorities has become the new principals mission when parents bring up their concerns to her. I hope more parents speak out It's a fact many are very unpleased as I am. Our children are the ones affected the most. The teachers are great most of them encourage parents to speakout more only this way will the district make changes. parents speaking"

"This was the first year for my child. I am so disappointed with the principal. The teachers might be great teachers, but a poor leadership is sure going to affect our child's education. My experience with the principal was horrific and my child will not be attending next year."

"I have been a parent at CVH for over 7 years. The teachers are excellent. However, since the new principal took over I have noticed a difference in the "feel" of the school. I have heard of several parents who have had issues with the principal, including myself. I have even noticed a change in the teachers. They do not seem happy to work there. The school is definitely not the same and it is sad when you hear your children complain about it when they come home from school. It truly says something about a school when you feel compelled to pull your child out of a good school because of the principal. I hope each of you who has issues with the school writes to the District to voice your concerns. This is the only way changes will be made."
