"From my child's experience I would say that the teachers at BBCHS are very good. They are interested in whether the students are learning the material or not, and are available to help them if they need help. The teachers are knowledgeable and have good raport with the students."

"This school does a great job at keeping parents informed about the college application process among other things. They communicate well with parents!"

"I have enjoyed my years at BBCHS, and like any high school, it is what you make it."

"I enjoyed attending BBCHS for the most part. I was in orchestra for all four years. Orchestra was my favorite class. I loved playing any music that I could get my hands on. In orchestra, I was able to attend string clinics at Valparaiso, University of Illinois, Indianapolis, and Disney World in Orlando, Florida. At BBCHS, I was able to increase my abilities as a musician and helped me meet new and interesting people. I was also in soccer for all four years. When I started soccer at Dynamo, I had always played defense, it was only in high school, that I started to play as forward and loved it. I didn't even realize my love of soccer until I was a sophomore when I scored my first goal ever. Also, I met two of my best friends on my soccer team. I was also able to join Leo's Club, SADD, and the Gay-Straight Alliance. One of my favorite experiences when I was in SADD, was when I was able to be in the SADD crash. It was a reenactment of a crash that involved texting and driving and the consequences that could come with it. It showed the aftermath of the crash, we were cut out of the crashed car by firemen, drove to the "hospital" in an actual ambulance, we reenacted the hospital scene where they showed someone who made it out of the crash and someone who died, and the reaction of a parent seeing their child who passed away in the crash. I was also able to work at the Family-fun-athon, hosted at Olivet Nazarine University, pass out candy in the Homecoming parade every year, attend prom on a cruise, and go to project graduation at Six-Flags Great America. All in all, BBCHS was a pretty great school."

"I take mostly AP classes, and I've found most of my teachers to be extremely dedicated. However, when I've seen normal level classes and teachers, I am not pleased. A lot of the teachers simply don't care after the grading policies switched and most of them are more unmotivated than their students."
