"Overall, most things are pretty easy. Picking and getting the classes the students wants is good."

"Overall, I believe the teachers are very knowledgeable. Many of them teach differently and grade differently."

"I don't really have any favorite experiences at school. All of them happened outside of school. The only thing that comes to mind as being good is participating in debate club. The school focuses heavily on sports so if you're simply disinterested there are not many other options for outside school activity."

"What makes this school most unique is that socioeconomically, it is incredibly diverse. There are students with parents making 6 figures or more per year, students that lived within modest households, and others that lived in incredibly poverty stricken homes. Overall, my experience at this school was medial. It is unfortunate to say that the reason for this often was subjective, based on my peers more than on the environment of the school itself. The school once was a place full of pride, initiative, and superb athletics. During my experience there, we went through various administrators, budget crises, and the downfall of athletics as a whole. Many students were bullied, others fell into the wrong crowd and used hard drugs, while others excelled and made names for themselves. Some of my best experiences were during my time as a student athlete. I was an athlete my whole life, and being a stand out softball player made many experiences quite enjoyable. That being said, as a female athlete comes many obstacles and struggles. Rarely did any female athletes or teams get the true recognition they deserved, and their coaches/programs often lacked in competition, organization, and discipline. We were often overlooked at the hands of the boy's basketball, baseball, and football teams. Booster organizations lacked for all teams except those which were funded by rich parents or the football team. In a more positive light, I made some great memories within the halls and outside of them. I formed some great relationships with a few teachers. If I had a choice, I would choose Cedar Cliff again. I would try to make more genuine friends, get more involved, and do my part to make my experience there a better one than my experience from years ago."
