"My two children received a solid education. It prepared them for college (U Mass Amherst business and Umass Amherst nursing.) I found the guidance Dept. extremely helpful"

"Braintree High School is by far one of the worst schools in Massachusetts. Aside from the fact that the building needs major revamping, the teachers are horrible as well. They all have snooty, snippy attitudes, and are relatively rude to the students. If you are planning on sending your child to BHS, be sure that they are okay with the overwhelming amount of homework assigned as well. The teachers seem to do nothing but talk about worthless things during class, and then assign and outrageous amount of after-school assignments."

"I am a graduate student at the University of New Hampshire and a member of BHS Class of 2001. BHS is an excellent school that prepares the students for college and the work place. There are also plenty of after-school activities and sports teams. The leadership and teachers good overall (although Braintree has been victim of a lot of teacher retirings lately)."

"My child has been going to this school for a year now, and she has said the ceilings leak, and their are holes in the ceilings too. She also said the teachers are either too hard or much too easy. Also, you have to pay a significant amount of money to be involved in sports or take the bus."
