"The curriculum here isn't at all that bad. It's just the students that get in the way honestly. The courses that are offered are okay but boring. Basically all the same courses you would see in other high schools. Since I never took electives in my previous years until now, I can't be sure if the elective classes are good. I am looking forward to vet tech though. You can study and touch real animals which seems really exciting."

"Honestly speaking, I did not have any memorable or fun experiences here at Bowne. The kids are very violent and cursive.. There's not a day where there can be peace and order in the classroom. There's always that one kid or group of kids who act up and interferes with the class. However, only few teachers can find a way to settle matters into their own hands. As the years passed by the kids didn't really get any better. New comers are so easily influenced and also tries to be like them. As for me, I think it's best to lay low and graduate quietly. In other words, go with the flow and don't get distracted or hang with the wrong group of people. But there are a few things that make this school unique. For example, we have an agriculture program and a farm which is pretty neat. There's animals on the first floor and a big farm where students grow their own vegetables and sell them to colleges nearby."

"The teachers here in Bowne are for one, respectful towards the students and makes sure we get our tasks done. However there are a few teachers who don't seem they are trying their hardest and seems to be slacking off at times.. Overall, many of the teachers I've had throughout my three years here in Bowne are confident and sure of what they are teaching. It's safe to say that the curriculum is not too shabby, but the kids are little troublesome.."

"At Bowne, trying to interact with others isn't easy. Most students here are very cursive and ghetto. They like to use foul language and speak really rudely to others. It is pretty rough and challenging for me to fit in and start up a conversation. Especially when most of Bowne consists of black, Hispanics, or Spanish people. Kids here at Bowne aren't very accepting.. When you dress inappropriately and talk rudely, for some reason more people will talk to you. You have to act like them in order for them to accept you. At least that's what I've observed and experienced. Most students in my class do not like to partake in class discussions. They seem really uninterested and does not take the class seriously."
