"this school use to be one of the top schools in NY. it had the NASA program and an honors program. Many students grouted with scholarships and are now professional in society today. You need to go down to city council and the officials who are suppose to be involved in the NYC Educational programs and make the represent our students. Parents and community has to be involved also. We rather send our students out of the district to other schools and help those schools get more educational dollars than make the city officials do the right thing for all schools and not a chosen few. We are spending too much money for our homes, and tax dollars to be afraid to send our children to our neighborhood schools. and charter schools are the answer. Its system wide so don't just put a bandaid on it. Get involved...start with the lotto and DMV tax was suppose to go to the school system where is it, and why were the parent boards taken out of the school system. Mr. Mayor education is not business. By the way My kids went to this school and both graduated with honor and received full scholarships to the University of illinois and UConn. And in their class 3/4 went to college or service."
