"The teachers in this school are mostly made up of kind, hard-working people who care about their students. Some even give up their time (when they do not need to) to help struggling students and also give out extra credit is most cases. Most are strict, but in a way that the students know that they know best for them and they encourage some of their strict teaching tactics."

"The staff is small, and constantly in communication with one another, they are knowledgeable in their subjects, and arefunds approachable and friendly towards the students with a very few notable exceptions."

"While there, it felt like hell, but looking back, Pace was a school that served it's purpose. It was supposed to prepare students for college and it did just that."

"Its a very good school that helps many to go on successfully into college. However, because its very small it lacks extracurricular activities"

"One of the many unique things about Pace High School is that it is very family oriented considering the size of our school and the amount of people that attend. It is because of the size of the school that the staff does not seem to think clubs such as art are a necessity. Art is one of the many hobbies I enjoy doing outside of school; however, students in our school including myself have tried to create an art club and failed several times. Not only is there a lack of serious extra activities but the environment in which the school is located is unsanitary. Pace high school is located in Chinatown, lower east Manhattan and because of this the environment is always filled with trash and strong unpleasant Oder's. For the most part I am in a way glad we are located where we are because Chinatown allows me to adapt to a new culture, which means I can grasp onto the language and food the Chinese people speak and eat on a daily basis."
