    "Our fourth child attends school at Legacy -- two went to private school, one to a Jefferson County School. Legacy is setting students up to fail both in college and in life -- the grading scale used at Legacy is set lower making it seem like grades are better than they really are (what a shock students are in for when they attend college, or move to a different school, and discover that an 89 is not an A but realy a B)! Student are allowed to be late to class with no consequences and turn in assignments weeks to months late (past the due date) and still get full credit for their assignments. How does this benefit students?"

    "Just moved here from Florida, an area that has seen more cuts, but seem to handle it better. 1st person you deal with is Holly. She needs to change her attitude or get a new job. Does anyone else have a problem with her? English teacher is more focused on yearbook than students. I have only met 10 teachers so I can't comment on the others. Not impressed with intimate campus. Hard to get around and doesn't give as much info as school district in Florida. Which has gotten hit a lot harder than Colorado."

    "Too crowded. Feel lost. I would say "send your kid to Holy Family". Problem is that not everybody likes crowds, including me."

    "I am a student at Legacy High School going into my senior year. All in all, this is a very good school. It offers many AP classes which can yield college credit, and it also has the L2K program which encourages students to let their interests fuel their learning. Most of the teachers at this school are very well-versed in what they teach, and are understanding. While there are exceptions to this standard, the more competent teachers tend to be in the higher-level classes, so things tend to get better rather than worse. Despite recent budget cuts, the office staff is full of great counselors who will help students along. I wanted to be able to take Calculus BC at this school, and my counselor helped me move some classes around to arrange this. The school does have a few dumb rules, such as their inconsistent ID policy, most rules are fair and the staff is human in stating them. The main complaint I have for this school is their priorities: they put more money into their marching band program than anything else. And what should students be more concerned about for their future, their ability to play trombone or their ability to code in that small, practically self-taught Java class?"

    "This is a great school with great programs. Plenty of opportunities for everyone at different levels. I am a recently graduated student and will say I fell in love with the teachers at this school and still keep in contact today."
