"I wish I'd have taken their accounting class, or that there was a class to better prepare us for important paperwork/finding a job/taxes etc. Yes I need calculus for my major, but I need these things for life."

"Besides being glad to the friends I've made there and knowing some good teachers, I probably would have liked to have gone to a different high school."

"Many teachers at this school are there to help students when it is needed and try to make the classroom a fun, learning experience."

"The school will pass anyone and everything is test based. I know students that can't long divide or tell the words their, they're, there or you're and your apart that have graduated. It's awful. A lot of students disrupt class and don't care about their future and are punished with morning detention-how about kicking them out? The dress code goes too far-I was once taken into the rest room right from the (incredibly long) lunch line to have the inseam of my shorts measured by a ruler, making me feel violated, especially since many of the students who had parents as board members dressed in next to nothing. The clubs are great-but there aren't many options. The food is okay, but again-no options and not filling at all. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone that wants their children to succeed. The best thing is that students may take college classes and get credit for them at an affordable cost. I've had many great teachers-but a lot of them focus on ridiculous things instead of basic math, writing, and reading skills. Punishments are ineffective and not taken seriously. The music programs suffer from a lack of funding, and aren't great for that reason. The buses are always overcrowded. On half days high school, middle school, and elementary school will be on the same bus leading to often four people in a seat and one in the isle. There isn't a push toward challenging hardworking and intelligent children."
