"This school is just wow I think I have to list them 1. They are so concerned with image the prinincipal her self said to lie to make the school look good 2. They have the worst and underqualified math teachers 3.These kids are so disrespectful and rude and the teachers don't do anything but tell them to be quiet. It's unfair to those who care about their education to have all the same classes with them which leads right into 4 4. The counselors are so dumb like they put kids in AP and Honors just to make the school look good and they put the same kids in all the same classes all day long start to finish no variety or challenge"

"Estrella Foothills is just an all around, horrible school. A large portion of the teachers make it quite obvious that they hate their job, and take it out on the students by either not teaching anything, or giving quizzes/tests on things that haven't been taught in class. The administration at the school is even worse. They are unwilling to take criticism, and refuse to change any of the problems with the school. The counselors employed there also don't do their job very well. They put students in honors and A.P. courses without asking, because it looks good for the school, regardless of how the student has done in previous classes."

"This is the kind of school that is more concerned with looking good than actually doing good. The administration will conceal, misdirect and outright lie to look good. The counselors push kids into programs they don't belong in and when they do not do well they suggest they aim on become an unskilled laborer. Teachers know the administration will sweep their wrongdoings under a rug and are hostile toward students and have grossly unfair grading practices. The environment is not good for learning. As my oldest kids were going through school each one of them got mostly A's and B's through elementary and college. But throughout high school their grades were poor and there was even a failure. Miserable school."

"My son currently goes to this school. I definitely like all the real word electives they offer. Their sports are great. I am so impressed with all the facilities the kids have for every sport. I know sports aren't every thing, however I am a strong believer in the importance of sports and how it relates to real life training of working in a team. I am disappointed in the fact that there isn't an ROTC program, but it isn't because they haven't tried and are continuing to try and get this added to campus. At first I was disappointed with the discipline because the kids are largely responsible to be self disciplined. This may work for some in preparation for college but some students of the less mature nature need some extra help getting on the right track. I agree with a review written a few years back that states your child's experience is directly related to your involvement. This is so true. Many parents take a step back when they get to high school to allow them to grow and while this is greatly needed to some extent it is not across the board. They are still children and need your guidance and support. I love this school and I am happy my other children will attend there."

"The Estrella Foothills High School, like many schools can always have improvement in Language Studies, Science Labs and or more diverse advanced placement programs. However, they excell with what they offer; and in addition provide the students with the opportunity to become leaders in their community. Initially, I was shocked to see my little girl taking a Sports Medicine Class; but, because of the teachers drive and pursuit for excellence it has give her confidence and she now strives to eat correctly and has her own workout schedule. It truly has been a life changing experience and of course the credit goes to the teacher who has instilled a pride in the girls that are in the class to strive for excellence. Not enough can be said for the Academic side of the house either; I'm amazed at the work load of the students and the constant study group that congregate at our house on a weekly basis to share the study load; its very satisfying as the flip side of the coin is the load placed on the teachers to read and grade the paperwork."
