"My daughter went to HAA. She was able to take college courses in her Senior year, graduated a year early with her masters from college. She made many friends. The teachers were great with the girls, providing guidance, great role models. Athletic dept had a lot to offer the girls. There were many clubs for the girls to join"

"My sisters and I went to HAA and there are many opportunities at HAA if you are willing to take advantage of them. HAA has more college courses than any other high school around here. This is wonderful because you do not pay college prices, but you can get college credits! One of the girls who graduated after I did got more than a semester of college finished before she graduated from HAA. There are AP courses offered too, but the college courses are more helpful in the real world."

"This school lacks a lot of opportunities that other schools offer, especially for students that want to excel. The number of AP courses offered is very low. Also, teaching quality seems to be lacking in certain areas (not all, but many)."

"We absolutely loved HAA. The principal and asst. principal are wonderful people and always open to hearing from parents. The majority of the teachers are very committed and helpful. The only negative experience I had was with the guidance person for the juniors and seniors only, I found this person to be very bland and dispassionate about caring and was not very helpful to us. In fact, I found her to be very unhelpful at times and tended to be rude. The freshman and sophomore guidance person, on the other hand, was very warm, helpful and caring and went out of her way to make the transition to HAA smooth. She was always available and helpful to my daughter and should be commended for that. My daughter is a recent graduate, and was at HAA her entire 4 years of high school."

"I graduated from HAA in '94. It was a wonderful experience and I received an amazing education. I was on student council and played sports. The school has alot to offer. The students need to take advantage of it all. I also received college credit my senior year. Great school!"
